Deputy Head of Strategic Advisory Group , Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine
Pavlo KUKHTA is the Advisor to the Prime Minister of Ukraine and the Deputy Head of the Strategic Advisory Group for Support of Ukrainian Reforms (SAGSUR). SAGSUR is a group of high-level advisors to the Prime Minister and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine that develops economic reform priorities for the government, monitors their process, and coordinates policy interventions to assist reforms in key areas. The group is headed by Ivan Miklos, Former Finance Minister of Slovakia and the ‘father’ of Slovak reforms, who is the Chairman of SAGSUR and Chief Economic Advisor to the Prime Minister. Prior to his recruitment to the government, Mr. Kukhta has worked in the NGO sector developing and advocating the reforms agenda. He participated in economic initiatives of the Reanimation Package of Reforms, the biggest coalition of reform-minded NGOs in Ukraine, VoxUkraine, the Center for Economic Strategy - think tanks and NGO initiatives that have played an important role in Ukraine's reforms effort after the 2014 Revolution. Before the Revolution, he worked as a consultant on economic issues and government relations.
