Director General , NGO "Committee of voters of Ukraine"
Oleksiy KOSHEL is the Director General of the Committee of Voters of Ukraine (CVU), a political expert, and a historian. Prior to his appointment in 2014, for a year, he served as a Chairman of the CVU Board. From 2005 to 2010, he was a Senior Lecturer at the Political Science Department in National University of Kyiv Mohyla Academy. Previously, he served as the Director of the analytical center "Rada." In 2005 - 2006, he was the Head of the Department of the Main Analytical Service of the Secretariat of the President of Ukraine. From 1996 to 2005, he was the Head of the Press Service of CVU, Editor-in-Chief of CVU newspaper “Tochka Zoru” and a series of collections of analytical materials “Nova Vlada,” and a Deputy Chairman of the Board of CVU. He is the Member of the Center for the Study of the History of Podillya at Institute of History at UNAS and an author of more than 70 scientific articles. In 2000, he received a Ph.D. in Historical Sciences at Chernivtsi National University. In 1995, he graduated from the Department of History at Kamyanets-Podilsky Ivan Ohienko National University. He interned at Midwest Academy, Chicago in 1995 and at Akademie Klausenhof, Germany in 2003.
