Gorgan Olexandr

Olexandr GORGAN is the Head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, to which he was appointed by order of the President of Ukraine on October 28, 2016. In September 2016, by the decree of the President of Ukraine, Mr. Gorgan was appointed to serve as part of the delegation of Ukraine to the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe for 2016 - 2020. Additionally, since 2015, he has been serving as a Deputy of the Kyiv Regional Council and a Chairman of the Vyshgorod District State Administration. Previously, he served as a Deputy of Vyshgorod City Council from 2005 to 2010. In 1995, Mr. Gorgan co-founded a law firm, Justinian, and since 2002, he has been serving as its lawyer. He graduated from the Law Faculty of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in 1997. In 2001, he was invited by the Federal Government of the United States to study in its International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP). He was born on November 5th, 1975 in Kalush, Ivano-Frankivsk region. Mr. Gorgan is married and has two sons and a daughter. In 2014, he was awarded the title “Ironman” at the European Triathlon Championship.
