Dmytro Shymkiv

Dmytro SHYMKIV is the Co-Chair of the Executive Reforms Committee and Secretary of the National Reforms Council, an advisory body to the President. The Committee’s main function is to prepare proposals for strategic planning of reforms as well as for coordination of their implementation and monitoring. In addition, Mr. Shymkiv is responsible for reorganization, innovations and implementation of e-governance in the President’s Administration. His achievements include drafting the President’s strategy for sustainable development “Ukraine 2020”, establishing the National Reform Council and Project Management Office for reforms, creating the National Reform Monitoring framework, enabling the launch of third generation mobile technology (3G) on a competitive basis, advancing the “Digital Ukraine” and “Go Global” initiatives, advocating the electronic public procurement system “ProZorro”, instituting the electronic petition service, and introducing various innovations to the Presidential Administration.
