Victor Pinchuk made new YES initiatives public

In his closing word at the final plenary session of the 4th annual Yalta European Strategy (YES) meeting Victor Pinchuk, the organization's founder, made new YES initiatives public.

He particularly reported a decision to establish international Counsel Board YES-Ukraine. Its main task is to give counsel to the Ukrainian authorities on the issues of which economic reforms are to be implemented to enable a free trade zone negotiations.

Another initiative is a Summer YES university where young domestic and international political leader are to gather together. "It is out future and we have give them opportunity to talk over current problems and to embrace the European perspectives", Victor Pinchuk said.

Looking back at the meeting he noted that the dialogue within the framework of the meeting was stimulating and future-oriented. "Moreover, it seems that a road from Kyiv to Brussels now goes through Yalta".

He thanked the meeting's participants and invited them at the 5th annual YES meeting in 2008. "Success of this annual meeting depends on participants. Still, it is we that are responsible for the actual results in the long run. On behalf of the YES Board I want to thank you and am looking forward to further working with you in the name of development a successful and tolerant Ukraine", - noted Victor Pinchuk.
