Despite the Full-scale War, Ukraine Could Fulfill Almost All of Its Obligations Regarding Euro-Atlantic Integration – Olha Stefanishyna

Ukraine has made progress in the process of integration into the European Union and NATO and confirms its promptness to fulfil all the commitments undertaken.

That was stated by Olha Stefanishyna, Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine, at the Yalta European Strategy (YES) Annual Meeting “The Future is Being Decided in Ukraine”, organised by YES in partnership with the Victor Pinchuk Foundation.

“Ukraine is determined and prompt to comply with all of its commitments on the way to the EU and NATO. I can assure you, that, during a full-scale war, we managed to accomplish almost everything required for that. Of course, there is criticism; we are facing new challenges, but our commitment remains firm,” said Olga Stefanishyna.

She noted that the government team was determined to continue implementing ground-breaking reforms in order to achieve the goal of Ukraine’s earliest possible membership in the EU and NATO.

“Even before the full-scale war, the whole world saw Ukraine with a new leader, a new team. This is one of the transformations that happened to us as a country. There is now almost none of those old politicians who would bring about memories of the Soviet period,” emphasised the Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine.
