The YES Board Discussed With Ukraine’s Leaders 
How to Support Changes and Put Ukraine on International Map

On May 29-30, the YES Board (Yalta European Strategy) has gathered in Kyiv for the first time in a new membership.

The Board was represented by its Chairman Aleksander Kwasniewski, President of Poland (1995-2005); Carl Bildt, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Sweden (2006-2014), Prime Minister of Sweden (1991-1994); Patrick (Pat) Cox, President of the European Parliament (2002-2004) Member of the European Parliament (1989-2004); Wolfgang Ischinger, Ambassador, Chairman of the Munich Security Conference, Senior Professor of Hertie School of Governance; Victor Pinchuk, Founder of YES, Founder of Victor Pinchuk Foundation and Stephane Fouks, Vice President of Havas Group Executive Co-Chairman of Havas Worldwide. 

The YES Board held meetings with the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman, with leaders from politics, society and the diplomatic community. Also, Chairman of the Board President Kwasniewski met with a group of Ukrainian students, scholarship holders of the Victor Pinchuk Foundations’ Zavtra.UA program.

During the visit the Board discussed how YES and its upcoming 14th Annual Meeting can contribute to keep Ukraine on the international agenda and help support positive changes in the country.
