Yalta European Strategy (YES), in partnership with the Ukrainian School of Political Studies of the Agency of Legislative Initiatives, launches a mini-conference for Ukrainian civil servants and politicians from the regions within the 13th YES Annual Meeting.
75 young civil servants and politicians from all Ukrainian regions get the opportunity to discuss key global and local issues with international and Ukrainian leaders.
To implement reforms, politicians and civil servants from the regions play a crucial role. The Ukrainian Government places strategic priorities on decentralization and strengthening of regional and local administrations and communities. Highly motivated young politicians and civil servants have stepped forward. The conference at YES gives them access to international know-how and best practices, strategic and leadership insights. It also allows them to build a strong network among themselves and with like minded people on the national and international level.
This new format is a contribution to YES' work of integrating Ukraine with Europe and the world, and bring together those who are reforming Ukraine with international partners who can support them.
